What is Aikido?

Aikido is a martial art from Japan.

It is practiced as a cooperative exercise system without competitions, i.e., without winners and losers.

In Aikido, you try from the outset to redirect the attacker's energy and use as little physical force as possible. However, the combative aspect remains fully intact. Aikido contains very dynamic throws and effective locks. Aikido can be practiced both quickly and athletically as well as slowly and fluidly, depending on your skill level.
